Tetanus injection - can it be given before the 2 yr mark?

So I know that the tetanus injection is usually given once every two years. Is it possible as a one off to get it given 5 or so months before its due? Looking in the passport, I'm sure my mare was given it once every year at one stage for some reason!
 
Yes, you are absolutely fine. The initial course of vaccinations are exactly the same as the boosters, and you give them a few weeks apart ;) :)
 
Phew thanks all! Just trying to get the horses in line with all their injections to save on call out fees! Will be worth it in the long run. I'm glad you can always rely on h&h!!
