Tetworth Hall XC

We've done it a couple of times, it's a nice flowing course nothing scary although in the open there's a drop into the water. There are usually lots of people standing next to the steps which can put some people off though

Here's some pics

This is a couple of years ago so it's the 2 6/2 9 class - it looks tiny now!

ground is good there but loads of rabbits, scary broken bridge drop into water in big class. The tiny course is pretty much round one field and is a bit flimsy. The bigger courses are much nicer.

Thanks - that is pretty much what I wanted to know - sounds as though it probably isn't worth the trip to take Merry around the baby course then.

Might just save my money / time and aim him for the MK hunter trial on the 1st.

The course in the pictures is not flimsy or broken from what I remember, there are some nice hunting fences further in and steps up and down

By a broken bridge I do not mean a jump that is damaged, it is a type of jump, like a bridge that stops in mid air and you jump off it, a bit like a jetty.

I think the hunt organised on uses the bigger course and the flimsy jumps are for the tinies the following week. Long time since we have been there.

I live in Gamlingay, used to hack through the xc course when my horse was alive & can see it from my field, so if anyone wants to pop in for a cup of tea & a chat...
