Weeeelllll, second ever show on my horse today. Honestly she jumped her socks off!

We did the 2ft6 which we had two refusals because she couldn't stop looking at the wire which ran underneath the jump, but then we went clear in the 2ft9 :D The jump off however... I lost both of my stirrups AGAIN (lost them last week too)... all I can say is my breastplate is a life saver.

BUT we qualified for Midarc & David Broomes :D :D :D :D

Pointless post but I'm extremely happy!!

Thank you! She is a life saver(in my eyes). The last jump of the jump off I was completely unseated & lost my reins, so was galloping towards the hedge/fence/ditch but she did an emergency stop then let me get myself sorted before plodding out the ring :rolleyes: I have it all on video too which is slightly embarasing hehe!

Please don't criticise my riding, it was horrendous; I was pooping my pants at the height of the fences and the ground condition:o
 
Fab photo! I so admire someone who remembers to grab the mane or breastplate when in danger of falling off - I never do, I just hang under the neck ungraciously!
 
wow..haha love the video! she doesnt look like she gives you an easy round, but really well recovered a few times there! Gorgeous horse too though. Can I just ask what make your breastplate is please? Have been looking for one for a while and yours is lovely :)

Thanks! She jumps them massive and unseats me quite a lot haha! Need to get some jumping lessons. It's the amigo breastplate with martingale attachments :)
