Thank you to everyone who helped with my problem with the snap on blades for my Moser Avalon clippers. I gave the blades a 'nudge' and tap and they worked. My seriously clipping phobic horse now has a small patch of clipper hair! It is going to take ages and a lot of patience to clip her but it will be worth it in the end.

Great news, you will get there, my boy nearly killed me with normal clippers and he stands happily now with the Avalons. I used to do his feathers with them regular at first as for some strange reason that didnt seem to bother him, then progressed to his body.
If you only have the ceramic blades, they do blunt easily doing feathers if they arent totally clean, just thought I'd mention that
