Our vet went above & beyond recently when we lost our horse so I’d like to get him something special by way of thanks.

Not alcohol or chocolates but something a bit more meaningful.
Any ideas please ?

I went to the bakers and found out from the practice what her favourite cake was and had the bakers make it with a thankyou written in lemon icing as she loves lemon drizzle cakes - she loved it. She also went above and beyond and even popped in to see her so no call out charge.

Hampers are always a good idea, to make it personal, especially coming into winter, maybe a little box for the car when on visits, like spare dry socks, gloves, hand cream, hand warmers and snacks. All the things you would appreciate after a cold day on a yard.

Cliché but it really is the thought that counts. He sounds like a lovely vet, I'm sure he'll be surprised and grateful for any token of gratitude, even if it's a box of choccy and a note ❤️

Late to the party, but I’ve seen vets really appreciate something personal, like a framed photo of the horse with a handwritten note about what their help meant. A small donation to an equine charity in their name can also be a lovely touch. Has anyone ever put together a little “vet care” gift box with useful bits like quality hand cream or good coffee?
