I read the post a while ago about someone stopping a woman on a horse with a very white tail and she said she used denture cleaner??
Well i tried it today and WOW i was seriously impressed!!! I had to guess how many tablets to use, her tail is so soft and white!! Yay....

So thank you whoever you were...

I used 8 sterident tablets in a bucket with 2 kettles of hot water and topped up with cold.
If her tail has fallen out by the morning i will let you know!!lol

Got three greys, two specialise in laying with their tails in their wee all night, had tried all the other suggestions, but will wait till tomorrow before trying 8 just in case!!

Do you think it would be any good on a Palomino's tail? She's normally quite good but since we've stabled her its a mess!

I also tried it but thought it was OK. But I was only brave enough to use 4. Will try 8 next time. Also you can use the empty containers to save £1 or 20p it all add's up....

I use them in with OH's socks (horses' tails are black)

Hmmm...can you use them on horsies white socks?? Or could it irritate the skin??
