i have recently started posting on the forum. Sometimes, my questions seem stupid, but i am delighted that there are so many people that know what i'm talking about. I know lots about horses, but i'm a sponge for information and love getting answers to my questions. I did a year of equine science in UL, ireland but packed it in when i went to work for an international showjumper, now, the chief d'qiupe for the ireland team. Without mentioning names, we all know who he is. He put me off horses for 5 years, even though i would never walk away from hard work. had been working in a riding school, where anything goes, but after a week, my hands were bleeding from the physical work. 4 am to 12 pm for no pay wasn't worth it, but i regret it to this day. Should have stuck with it, i might still work with horses if i did.

I'm now a part time secretary, 2 children, 5 horses, 2 cats and a dog.

I love the information i get from the forum, even if i don't post. it's amazing what you can learn from other people,

Thank you for everything.

When talking to my friends I start with "I read something on...." .....before I can finish they say "Horse & Hound" ....

I'm the same, i love sponging knowledge.

My friends seems to think it's geeky though, and the OH takes the mick all the time, even though he's a massive gamer/ comic geek!

I also found it a good way to get my horsey fix before i got my share.
