Thanks for all your suggestions and advice regarding my mares advert, have made a few changes to it here, and also dropped her price to £8.5k. http://www.horsedeals.co.uk/item-details.aspx?ProductCode=29-11-09-50671&CategoryId=808
If she doesnt sell before these ads expire i may take her of the market for a bit as you say, i would really like her sold sooner though, as cant start looking for a new horse until shes gone.
Unfortunatly those are the best jumping pics ive got at present, shes only been to a few shows since being back in work after my spinal surgery, and it was so dark we didnt have any decent ones. The top of that a-frame is 1.25m, this yard is mostly dressage orientated so they dont have much in the way of jumps, although she will eb moving soon so can prob get some more then. Have also put some confo ones up, do you think i should use one of the other pics then if that one isnt great as a primary?
Thanks again

What a giveaway of such a great horse! Hope you find a great home, which i'm sure you will she sounds super. And i think there's enough said and shown there that people can get in touch if they want to see more

Thanks guys, fingers crossed will start getting some interest soon.
Puppy, if you go onto the horsedeals website, her ad title is Glenearn, which you can search and it should come up as i dont think there are many horses with that name!

Thats a better advert. Id still get rid of those 2 jumping photos though. What about the third one in your signature? Is that her? Could you not use that photo?

QR - I'm really confused, I've taken a bit of interest in these horse pricing posts as I'm horse hunting at the moment and was particularly interested in the post a few nights ago from Nat_uk and her beautiful chestnut gelding here

Genuine question for those who had suggested the chestnut gelding (with small BSJA winnings, working Elem/Med dressage at home with the eye problem) would be worth the same or a little less than this mare who has BSJA winnings (not sure whether her amounts are small or not) and working medium dressage at home? Both are of similar age, height, breed?? Surely this mare should be worth much more as there's no known problems or the gelding much less because of the problem?

Not seen your previous posts about your advert but what a lovely mare & a very good price too.

However, I would seriously change the jumping photos as I am always dubious when people say a horse is jumping such and such height but shows it jumping a fence much smaller. I like the other photos though and the wording is great. Good luck in finding her a nice home.

Hi,

The first pic you see is still horrible (sorry but this is my living and I'm really fussy when it comes to adverts and photos). It still isn't showing off her jump at all. I would change first pic to the flat work one for now (which is a nice pic) and will get peoples attention. Also try and sell her a bit more as a teenagers event prospect/ top class pony club/ Riding club horse (which is what she sounds like if she's genuine XC). I would possibly take her advert off for now, take her to a couple of shows, get some pro pics of her jumping out, then put these on website, if when the ground gets better you can get her out to XC schooling and get a couple of pics then that would help. THEN you will get your asking price!
