Dex had his x-eay this am and apparently he is healing perfectly. Phew!

When he saw the vet he flew at him barking so he is obviously off Dexters Christmas card list!! Vet says he thinks the slight lameness is due to muscle wastage and he should improve now he can do a bit more. There is a tiny chance the plate is holding some of his infection but unlikely and easily solvable if that is the case. Anyway here he is after his x-ray while mum sat waiting for him to wake up!!

No I don't think he appreciated the blanket. I had to be up really early this am, slat feed at the horses and chucked them out at some ungodly hour then drove to vets with his Lordship. When I saw him all tucked up and snoring had a real urge to climb in with him!!

No his leg just looks and feels like the other one. Might be worth mentioning it to your vet next time you are in touch with him. Although if it isn't affecting Blue it is probably nothing to worry about.
We obsess about them don't we!! Hope Blue is doing OK and is back to his normal self before too long. The last 6 weeks have flown by for me.
