for all the advice re. http://www.horseandhound.co.uk/forums/showflat.php/Cat/0/Number/1439122/an/0/page/2#1439122
Farrier came up this morning as I felt we had to take the other 3 shoes off atleast! Sedalin didn't knock him out but just chilled him out a bit. Farrier suggested trying him without shoes...we don't actually do alot of roadwork and he's got strong feet so I thought why not? Not a peep out of him the whole time - he actually turned around and watched the farrier trim his feet
I realise that it's not curing the problem but if it works then I could do without one more battle at the moment.
He's lunging ok (no lameness) so going to take him out for a walk on Saturday and see how he is. He's certainly full of beans and had a buck and a fart on the lunge so I think he may have pulled his leg possibly....
Thanks again guys for all the advice.....we'll see how it goes Saturday and then get the vet out if he starts to hobble again.
