You spend months helping organise a big show and the last thing you expect is for it to be rescheduled because of a bloody erupting volcano!!!!

Gah, now what to do with my weekend.......

What's better up to my eyeballs in admin, pedigrees and paperwork, or up to my eyeballs in mud and hair?!

Go for the mud and hair!! I hate paperwork which is why I do all that sort of stuff at the last minute. Would much rather be out and about getting mucky with the 4 leggeds!! :D

Oh no, wouldn't most folks be coming by ferry? I remember how certain handlers used to get the shorts out at the first sign of sun, mind you most of the ones I remember probably wouldn't be a pretty sight in shorts so many years down the line.;)

Yeah but we need the judge!!!

(I know what you mean, thank God those tiny 80s football shorts with the vents up the sides have been relegated to the fashion dustbin - oh yeah and the curly perms....)

Aah good point. Oh god those football shorts , I remember a certain young Scots handler used to always wear those, bet he cringes every time he sees pics from those days.:D

...but not to worry, it's not as if he was immortalised in the picture section of a very respected book on the breed, hahahahahahahahaha!

That's cheered me up no end (goes for a rummage in the book case)

I would reschedule for when the wind is in a different direction the last time it blew it went on for 3 years. The alternative are find a ring and a hairy footed little chap and chuck em in or pay for the judge to come on a cruise !!!!

We have hopefully rescheduled for two month's time, judge and entrants seem happy enough, just such a bugger, it would have been a beautiful day for it, I suppose it will suit all the people who's dogs decided to blow their coats this week :p
