I can't remember who posted on here about taking their dog to the castle in Wales but I thought it sounded great so I booked and have just got back from a 3 day break.

Just wanted to say thanks as we all had a great time and I would definitely recommend it. The staff were so lovely, they brought the dogs a sausage each for breakfast and have their favourite dog bed waiting by our dinner table :) we did some amazing walks topped off with a visit to oxwich bay on our way home as recommended by the staff. It was a beautiful beach, both the dogs first time on a beach and they loved it. They are both still absolutely shattered snoring on the sofa, even our springer which is saying something!!!

If anyone is looking to get away with their dogs definitely give it a try! Thanks once again :)
 
What sort of things do you want to do? We went to a lovely pub just up the road for lunch where the dogs were welcome - highly recommend that!

We had a brilliant day at the beach as well but that was 40 minutes from the castle so not exactly local!! It was a beautiful and very quiet beach but a car park and a restaurant so can have lunch with the dogs.

Would definitely recommend you have a look on their website think its dogfriendlywales.co.uk as it has all the walks on there as well as other days out you can take the dogs on :)
