I want to thank everyone for being so kind and understanding earlier this week. One of my good friends pointed out that this country survived 1968, Watergate, 2008 and we'll survive that racist so and so Trump and all of the scum he's encouraged to crawl out from under slimy rocks. One of the young doctors at work gives me hope. He's forward thinking and left Lynchburg, the home of Jerry Falwell and Liberty University, to move to a more open area.

Hope you're keeping OK. Sometimes it's felt like the whole world is on fire and we're on the precipice of something - and it's hard to keep grounded.
I've been trying to do one small positive thing each day and that's definitely helping.
I read a really positive account from a protest in CO that gave me a lot of hope.
Give your dogs a cuddle and we can all wish that there are better times around the corner x
