There must have been 1 or 2 people on here who clicked 'like' on the group "supporting the met police against the London riots"
I had no idea who its author was, and I don't use twitter, so was not aware of his linked twitter page. Almost an unprecedented 1 million people joined the face book group in 3 days. Even David Cameron quoted the group in his speech earlier this week.
Well, today the face book group, and the authors twitter page has disappeared. It turns out that the person who started it is a racist and in the past has used racist and inflammatory views to try and increase his twitter profile. The racist jokes, and views on his twitter profile were still available for anybody who took the time to look back at his history of tweets to see.
It's such a shame that there was a hidden ulterior motive, and he now has achieved the fame he desired.
