Is it just me who keeps reading it as Pyrex x GS puppies?

Mind you, no more stupid than the actual cross they have done I suppose

Was thinking a long haired GSD x Chinese Crested would be a good idea what do you think? Can't seem to come up with the catchy name yet !!!

Sis has a really noisy husky, thought I would cross her with Digger, an Artic Heeler, that you could hear for miles in the worst snowstorm, it could round up a raindeer, kill it and run off with the best bits but would make the prettyest puppies to sell !!

Seriously though WHY ??????????????????????????????? There are so many unwanted dogs around and someone does this, would be interesting to phone and see what their responsible homing policy is, what health checked actually means and if this was an accident (even so there is something that could have been done)??? As these cute little puppies are gonna be HUGE and a handful !!!

Another thing , that addy had been there for yonks, those pups must be about 6 months old now

Dog de bordeaux or summit entirely different?

Yes Dogue de bordeaux! Sorry we always call them dogues...dunno why, I think its a show circuit abbreviation! *whispers* we have some fairly mean ones for some breeds!!

I can of course tell you exactly how many dogues if I use the things on the front of me head and an ounce of brain power to put just them in the results! 117 ads in the last 14 days on one website

Dogues are becoming very trendy round here, I had a moan about my neighbour having a litter a while back "to pay for a conservatory". She kept a bitch puppy which is of course wandering like their other dogs and has so far managed to kill all another neighbours chickens and ducks. In the last few months there have been several ads for dogues in the local paper, on the bright side the ads have reappeared at increasingly lower prices so hopefuly they haven't made the fortune they expected and won't do it again.

you want a stupid cross? my cousin bought a sharpei x rottie coz it was a "cute puppy" even though she lives in a flat, with no garden! ARGH some people!!!!

cayla - whats the weirdest cross u have had in your rescue?!

In my local pet shop ( though have seen in a local paper ) is an ad for poodle x cockers . That'll be some wild hair !! I think it's a woman whoo bred poodle x jrt and poodle x something else ( can't remember ) . She asks £550 and the ads go fairly quickly so she must sell , she admitted to shop owner to doing it for the money !

We have had Jugs recently in the paper (JR x Pug), as well as the usual cockerpoos, jackapoos etc. Scarily also some Husky x Malamute and Mal x Shepherd - why?

Dog Breed Info has a long list of hybrid crosses, complete with photos. I'm sorry, but the "Bostillon" cracks me up, and looks like Stella in a bad wig.

Is it just me, or does Bostillon sound like really expensive ready made stock?

There was only two "Bostillons" but I must say that I thought they looked very different, mostly due to the first one (who looked cute) have inherited the Boston Terrier muzzle shape and the second one have inherited the Papillon muzzle shape.

A totally random dog smiley :
