Puggy today sporting his new outfit ? he does look funny but it’s essential - he’s got very sensitive pink skin now he’s older on his neck where the mane has been rubbed out from years of wearing neck rugs and factor 50 and total sunblock isn’t stopping it from burning and it just becomes a sticky mess… so I had a Google and found this Busse Eczema hood which can be worn on its own. It has built in UV protection and means he doesn’t have to wear a full rug when it’s too hot as he just gets too warm. Fly mask matches nicely too and that wasn’t even intended. ? I’m sure he thinks ‘what have I got to wear now mum?!’ But I’m really glad I have found it as it means I no longer have to worry about applying cream as soon as the sun is out, and whether he is burnt or not. The amazing this is his nose NEVER burns and I never but cream on it either!! Really recommend for anybody else with a similar problem. It would also make a good addition to a fly rug without a neck attachment.
