If this is you riding like a hilbilly then I really wonder whether I can ride at all! That looks an interesting place. Were you jumping in a yard?
 
The site is shared with a quarry company, hence the man-made hills of presumabley sub-standard sand! And lakes, which yes it has happened that some people have gone skinny dipping after a few drinks!

SC - that is what I mean, no wonder we get time faults going round looking like a pair of hippies

(I know nothing) but to me it looks as if the horse is finding it completely easy and is totally prepared to jump anything you ask of it, sweetly and kindly. The ground conditions would make me hide (although I guess might ride better than they look if sand) but this was as a selling vid - wasn't it?

Not a round of a competition so the easier it looks the better, IMHO. A horse that looks tricky in an advert definitely does not appeal even if it does get over the fences. I think you ride beautifully.

3. Have you considered loaning Libs to an up-and-coming-young eventer? (read old-and-will-never-get-anywhere eventer) for free? out of the goodness of your heart?

1. Was looking down as he tripped in his last stride in the water and I thought a boot might have come off or slipped, it was extremely deep.
2. I sincerely hope you are a degenerate, only degenerates need apply!
3. Seriously, yes I have considered getting a young Belgian rider to try and get on 2009's junior team with him (selection much easier and more transparent than UK - if you're qualified you go!), but it's a very risky strategy, most importantly from an injury point of view, but also he has such a great record I wouldn't want someone screwing it up. At least if I screw it up I only have myself to blame. Plus he's not a bad horse to have in the stable, I could have much worse unsellable creatures

The day I can ride like that, just sitting, looking pretty , allowing the horse to jump out of a rhythm etc etc - is the day I give up riding (so aint going to happen anytime soo)

As William has condescendingly pointed out to me on many occasions my horses are far cleverer than me, and any hauling about in front of a fence gets me nowhere beneficial! I do as I am told by them and try to make myself scarce!
