My name is Tony Scott, I am 35 and run a design studio in Petersfield called Akira Studio (http://www.akirastudio.co.uk ) My interest in horses only began last November when I helped create a new website, Voices For Horses ( http://www.voicesforhorses.co.uk)

During the project I have spent a great deal of time getting to know these magnificent animals and now work with Emma Kurrels of Voices For Horses along side Akira Studio on a day to day basis.

The welfare of equines is one of the many topics Voices For Horses covers. Through the project I learnt of The International League For the Protection Of Horses ( http://www.ilph.org)and the work they do to help protect and rehabilitate equines.

I started riding lessons not long after getting involved with Voices for Horses and was instantly hooked. On a trip to Australia earlier this year and after a 4 day ride through The High Country I made the decision that I wanted to support the ILPH charity by entering into one of their challenges. Especially in the light of the recent Amersham case at Spindles Farm which Voices for Horses have been covering on the web site with video and articles.

Over the coming months I will be working on improving my fitness levels and riding skills to prepare myself for the challenge, as spending most of my life behind a desk is a world away from riding over 30km per day at altitudes of 2500 Meters for 10 days across the Andeas mountain range!

The thought of being able to give something back and raise money to help ensure the welfare of others is great and I am counting on the support of people like you to help me on my journey for the ILPH.

Please visit my Andean challenge website ( http://www.theandeanchallenge.co.uk) for further information and opportunities to sponsor me and support the ILPH.

Thanks for your interest and support
