How do you get rid????

My Goldie has had a very stubborn eye ulcer for which she's had to have weeks of eye drops and a procedure to get rid of. This has lead to pretty big tear stains on her left eye.

Someone recommended shea butter baby wipes to us so we've bought these but has anyone else any ideas?

I read somewhere that apple cider vinegar was fed into the water and stopped this problem with a Westie. I will do further research later and come back to you to confirm.

This is from a book entitled Vinegar 1001 praactical uses ,make of it what you will.

A vet has said that the tear stains are caused by acidity in the dogs system,his suggestion was to put a few drops of vinegar in the drinking water for a few days.Then increase the amount of vinegar to about a teaspoon each day. Within a few weeks, the tear stains will be gone for good.

This is ordinary vinegar as appossed to cider vinegar.
