The beard and the belly fluff are gone!

Flower was at the point where she had most of her summer coat through, but some random belly fluff was stubbornly hanging in there, so the scissors had to come out. Her beard came off at the same time, so we now have one delicate little head on display too :)

Her response to being tied up, primped, and preened for half an hour was, as usual, to fall asleep, so I guess that's another first that can be ticked off the to-do list!

She is just beautiful! I love your posts. I think you are both very lucky - you to have had that little beauty as a surprise and her to have ended up with you. I love her mum too - I have a piebald mare with a kind eye (and one without but that is another story) and you can't beat them. Flower definitely has her mums eye.
