was the total moron who took his 12 WEEK OLD labrador puppy to Badminton on XC day....:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:

Then there was the person who looked at Flick and said 'is she a whippet or a lurcher?' (obviously gaining points for getting the sex correct, and an approximation of the breed!) but who looked utterly disbelieving when I said "no, she is a greyhound" - I felt I should show off Flick's tattoos as proof :D:D

But there were a pleasing amount of greyhounds and whippets there, and some stunning lurchers, and Flick was fantastically behaved all day :):):)

She did look a bit lost without the others though (I always take the three of them everywhere) so next time we shall definitely go on our own so we can go en masse :D:D:D

I did keep an eye out in case I spotted you....well actually don't have a clue what you look like but would recognize Flick!! Didn't see you sadly but looked as if it was a great day. Sadly I believe a horse died on what would otherwise hae been a lovely day ot,

Glad you and she had a good day. I took my greyhound the other year and he had a great day, the main problem being the amount of dropped food he tried to eat. I spent the day looking at the floor and trying to avoid it.

I was worried that Badminton may be dog unfrinndly after the loose dogs last year, so glad all was well.

Dont tell me I missed the gorgeous Dexter today :(:(:(:(

Muddy Boots, yes I would agree with that, plus by the end of the day Flick had turned into an expert at begging for chips :p

Bless her she is absolutely flat out asleep now :).... but then so are the other two who didnt come today :D I love greyhounds :D

About begging - yes, mine does that beautifully - looking all cute and if he could speak he would be saying "look how thin I am - she doesn't feed me", I think this fools non-greyhound people beautifully.

Mine's asleep too - and has only had a short walk today as little dog is poorly.

LOL :D This is the only time of year I wish I had a TV, I am hoping like mad that the BBC coverage will also be online tomorrow, otherwise I shall be refreshing the results frantically!

Yup I saw him - also THE most gorgeous fawn English Bull Terrier (didnt realise they came in fawn) who I really really wanted to take home :)

I didn't spot that bully, but did spot a dark brindle and white one with a little lady - gorgeous dogs, and impecably behaved!!

I kept my eye out for you GH too! Then I realised, what was I going to shout when I saw you.."HIIIII Gazehound!" lol...maybe not :p

I saw the teeniest wee Springer pup, can't have been older than 8 weeks, it was being carried at the time but still... WHY?
