Im wondering what the brest multi purpose rug is, ie a turnout that can also be worn in the stable.

Im buying a medium weight turnout and was thinking of either a Rambo, Amigo or Taka?

I woudl rather use a turnout in the stable where possible, at least the poo will wash off easier!

Yep, Fal do a dual purpose rug! Have you have WB rugs for you WC before? I find that the new free style system hasn't really suited the WC's that we had at work....... All Horseware rugs are good!

I agree with magicmelon.
As long as its breathable it can be left on, we leave ours on when they're wet so they dry out nicely. I would still like to think that rugs are taken off even if its only for 10 minutes when your stuck for time just to let the horse have a really nice scratch and to inspect for rubs etc.

SimplyNutty the rug is for my new horse, a 16.2 hunter, (below, he is a middle weight though)

My welsh has about 20 rugs already LOL! Yes WB dont fit her at all, her shoulders are too big.

She has a FAL one and will be living out all year too, but the hunter will be in on a night so I really wanted to get him a rug that can be used inside.

Thanks magicmelon and salcey, I wasnt sure if only certain ones were suitable for indoor use, Ive always just used stable rugs but they are too much hassle to keep clean!

Now Ive said Im only going to buy him 1 rug as he is already coming with a few, but seeing all the nice ones that are out makes me want more!:D

(hides shameful horsey spending addiction!)

I believe premier equine international do them.

I have one of there really super dooper thick ones for when it gets really bad this winter.

Not used it yet, but seems a nice rug.

My horse is similar build to yours. He is a 16.2 mw ID x TB/Shire. I use a Rambo rug as a dual purpose rug and its great. I can get away with either 6' 6 or 6 9 in the wug version and its never rubbed moved, leaked etc.

I would say Fal Pro, though I am also a big Horseware Ireland fan!
Cob Blob has a Fal Warrior h/w (which is a 'cheapo' by Fal standards! lol) & that is both a turnout & a stable rug, though most modern rugs can be used as both I think, should one wish to do so!
