The best part about walking in the rain...

...is the towelling off when we get home. At least, according to Danny it is

(otherwise known as his mother theresa look)

He was walking around with that towel on for a good half hour, as if it was some kind of fashion accessory

Aw Danny looks so pleased with himself! My two fight over who gets towelled first. Its usually the collie and she comes back for a second go once the cocker has finished.

Oh he was very pleased with himself, even moreso because Tessie didn't come. She sulked in the end because she didn't get towel dried, she wasn't wet...and Danny kinda hijacked the towel.
It must feel so good, I don't know of a dog who doesn't enjoy the simple pleasure of a towel

Bless him...I rarely bother towel drying my lot, I just let them sit and steam by the fire!! Gosh I'm a mean mum! Just seems like hard work to towel dry 4 of them!! I chuck a blanket over each of them if they are particularly wet and shivery!
And definately the best bit about walking in the rain is the fact there is noone else walking!

Pfft, tell that to the 2 spangles and 4 terriers we met! :O I was shocked considering it was raining so hard my jacket started leaking.

Ha to be honest we very rarely see anyone else even on a nice day so on a day like today the chances of meeting someone else are nil!! And yep I am jolly inconsiderate to light them a fire before we go out! I would like to say I lit it as much for me as them but in reality we came in and they sat by the fire on a duvet while I sat at the kitchen table on the laptop shivering! I'm not the brightest!
