Depends on you horse. I never used to use boots but 2 of ours have a few lumps/bone chips that are better if not caught and so they wear boots in front. We use Prolites and have had no rubs.......yet!!

another depends on you/your horse

i hunt with the blackmorevale/cattistock mostly muddy but i choose to put boots on, gives me (and mum) a bit more peace of mind...most people here don't
woofwear are fab: simple, effective, light, don't slip and don't cost the price of the horse's legs
