I bought the boy a tub of equibites thinking they would be ideal to give him for his vitamins and minerals. He's grass kept and has no hard feed.
Will the blighter eat them? No he will not!
I've put them in his bucket with a mixture of apple and carrot pieces. He ate all the apple, some of the carrots and none of the equibites going as far to actually spit them out.
He loves his apple so I've tried soaking them in apple juice but he's not stupid, he licks the bucket but that's it.
What else can I try to get them into him? All ideas welcome!
Thanks

haha, typical little boy if it's healthy won't eat it!!! I have a badminton vitamin and mineral lick out in my field that all three have access to and I know all 3 use it, from the 2 year olds to my older mare. I swear by these, other makes do them too, but the badminton one is the only one readily available near me and the horses don't gorge on it but do use it daily.

It looks like he'll end up with that. I bought the equibites because loads of people said their horses absolutely love them. His field mate likes them but mine, no!
Thanks for your help. I'll have to track a vit and min lick down :)
