The Brooke currently reaches 700,000 horses, donkeys and mules every year, across ten countries. These animals are working in some of the harshest environments in the world from the hot and dusty brick kilns in Afghanistan, cold, mountainous areas of Pakistan and the busy city streets of Delhi, India and Cairo, Egypt.
Of course, each environment brings its own problems for horses and donkeys as they carry bricks and haul building materials, take produce to the market to sell and transport people. You can watch a video of them at www.helpboth.org
