The Carrot Lady has been ignoring me for sooooo long now! First, she put me in pony jail, and only came to give me haynets (and apples, yum!). Then, she put me back in my own field with my friends, and she ignored me completely! For a whole week!!
Today, she came and brought me in, just as I was having a good scratch with my friend that kicks me sometimes if I don't behave. I probably should just have ignored her, but who can resist a carrot?
She got out the really really long yellow rope, and the really really long red-and-blue bendy stick with string on. Then we went in the little field with the jumpies, and she made me go in circles! It's weird when we do that---seems really pointless to me---but at least I get what she's on about now. It was really scary when we did that the first time last year, before she started riding me.
Then, we went for a ride in the woods! It was very exciting, because I haven't been there in soo long. First, there was a dead bunny, which wasn't very interesting. Then, there were plants, and grass, and some mud near the square place with the big roof, and a big white van that wasn't there before. You have to be so careful about little changes like that! You never know where there's something dangerous! The Carrot Lady doesn't seem to understand that, though.
We trotted around the square place a bit, which was good, because it's nice and soft and flat, and she was very happy with me.
Then we went home again! On the way home, I told her in no uncertain terms that not cantering is unacceptable, so we did. Just a little bit.
When we got home, I got another carrot! I hope she brings me more tomorrow.
