'The Centaur and the Animal' did anyone go?

Went with OH to see the above this afternoon. It had been reviewed in the Telegraph last weekend, on TV, in the papers etc - all rave reviews. It was supposed to be an amazing show with a combination of traditional dressage and Japanese Butoh dance.

Well, I have seen some twaddle in my time, but really ...

I went.

Bizarre, grotesque, surreal and long are all words that are appropriate to it.

" A family of toads had made it's home in my left armpit ... " still resonates.

I don't regret going but I'm not sure I would recommend it to anyone unless they're into hardcore abstract performances.
