Hi,
earlier in the year i indulged myself and bought a Centurion Mini pulsed magnetic therapy unit as it was hard work going to the hospital weekly for my magnetic pulsed therapy there for my hand. (children arent able to go with you hence had to sprt childcare for the boys etc each week).
I went for the horse model so that i could use it for that after i was done with it - well, i dont mind using something horsey for myself lol!
It worked wonders on my hand, and has also been used for hubbys broken foot.

But... i wanted to use it on my TB for the 1st time yesterday as he has been a bit of a fool, scrapped his leg and its a bit puffy etc. Well, how on earth you are meant to get it to stay put i will never know! I tried to arrange the straps horizonatly, crossing over etc, and i did them tight but it would still slip down, at one point i thought i had cracked it and had the gap of the main device over his hock in perfect holding position - it slipped still.

If anyone has used one, do you have any hints or tips on the best way to get it to stay put! It didnt managed to stay still for 2 minutes let alone for the 30 minute treatment session!

Thanks.

ps - link to item http://www.centurion-systems.co.uk/ the photo must be a fake or was shot the instant it was put on as within seconds i dare say it slipped as they are relatively heavy items!

hi, sorry, have just seen your post :)

TBH - i am mixed about it, it is a FANTASIC bit of equipment, but, TBH, not much good for a horses leg unless you can stand there and hold it hold for 30 minutes! As its an expensive bit of kit, you cant afford to let a horse start trying to kick it off as i imagine to be thrown across a stable would damage it far too much for it to work.

Still works wonders on me though! it now seems to be living at home lol!
