I can't believe we're in the midst of moving house. These pups have just arrived at our local shelter, they're ridiculously adorable and I want one!

We were going to get a dachshund pup, but the foster mother--a long-time dachshund owner--about scared the life out of me with all their special requirements and high incidence of spinal issues. Being that Stella is our special needs dog, we felt something hardier would work better for us.

And if we weren't in the midst of an apartment sale--and likely a few months of renting ahead of us until we find a new place to buy--we would definitely put in an application.
