After Finni's evil antics last weekend (where we retired from our showing class due to sideways galloping and leaping), he was an angel today at our yard's show and came 3rd in 2ft 6".

I did fluff one jump in the jump off (it was my first ever jump off!) and decided to ask him to go a bit faster than the flat out gallop we'd already achieved - he took this as "oh, you want me to take off from HERE?" and cleared the fence as though was 4ft! Many gasps form audience...but was great fun.

Well done L154XXX. Am really pleased.

Where did you go and what did you do?

I had planned to take him to Matfield for Riding Horse class, but looked at wind and rain this morning and decided to join in at the yard. Glad I did.

I bought some Equine America calmer, by the way, but haven't tried it yet.
