Asking if I could possibly find space for some lovely dogs whose 7 days were about up.
These are friendly young adult staffie crosses found roaming in the Derby area and more strays are being found & unclaimed than there are people offering to adopt them.
This is an area where some "rescue kennels" are bringing van loads of dogs from Ireland and selling them to people thinking they are doing a good deed!
Anyone thinking of a dog and not fussed about a puppy - do try contacting your dog warden as these people do care about the dogs they take in and can often point you in the direction of where to look. Many rescues do not have flashy websites or a big advertising budget.
