Dressage Saddle Owning Virgin! Hee hee... I know this kind of thing that is down to personal feel and type but don't have the funds i wish i had to buy new so ebay it is! I just want get this right to give me and my rather promising horse the best chance.

When it comes to jumping saddle I got it planned know what i like and don't etc.
Questions
1. Guessing this means i will have to get working hunter/showing saddle on top of a jumping one too?

2. What saddle do you recomment? Not a wow fan tho. Am tall with trim long legs and for a ISH.
3. Are the wintecs etc really bad, Not as good or hell of alot worse then leather? I know my friends gp is unsittable in a buck. And I have a youngester....
4. I really don't want anything that will make my posion any worse spesh with my lower leg trouble from broken ankle

Dont buy a wintec I personally dont like them, I find they tip me forwards. And when the girth straps wear they are a b!tch to do up!

I have a Wintec Isabell and I love it! Because its covered in equisuede it sticks you to the saddle and you don't move! I've got the really big knee rolls on mine and I feel as secure as anything

Daughter has a Bates Dressage saddle & loves it, says it really helps with her position & horse seems to be comfortable with it as well. Bought it from someone on Ebay, it was about in brown & only 6 months old, hardly been used & saved a fortune. The bargains are out there if you look & are patient.

I'm sure equestrian clearance has them with flocking too although I think the cair is lovely.
