Having a horse that has gone hyper with the spring grass I am wondering if this is the answer to stopping me from feeling tired. If I ate a bucket of grass a day do you think it would help?
hmm, don't fancy stringy grass , but yes, if they extracted whatever it is that's in the rocket fuel this year, I'd be queueing up at Holland and Barratt to get hold of it.
Failing that - should we just take the plunge - and - eat - some - grass
Wish I could survive on a bucket of grass a day......I do graze though lol.
My mare for the last 5 years was at an ex cattle farm. First signs of spring grass in march we got sloppy droppings and racehorse wannabe mentality. She also started itching/rubbing and would rub her mane out and tail. So was rugged up to the eyeballs
This year in Feb we moved to a much larger feild, 24/7 turnout. Thus far no signs of sloppy poo, no racehorse mentality and no itching. She even still has the bit of mane that grows over winter every year only to be rubbed out in spring!
There is even a pond and a poo pile in her field (just for the midges).
