Daisy is (after two weeks that turned into 6 months!) finally going back to the MIL next weekend so I thought I'd get the camera out and take some pictures - needless to say she is a very content dog!

Definitely! We love having her, just really cant justify £350pm in doggy day care if the MIL can cope with her (am secretly hoping she'll still be a bit much for her and we'll end up coming to some sort of financial agreement where the MIL helps pay for Daisy's keep but she lives with us :P seems somewhat unlikely though, lol )

That is quite an extra expense! Hopefully you will still see her lots.

Yup, we're really not set up to have a dog as both work full time so she goes to day care every day, luckily she loves it and it has done fantastic things for her doggy social skills! Needless to say she also then gets a lot of fuss on the weekends!
 
She is beautiful. Look at the shine on her coat :D She has clearly blossomed under your care and I hope she is as happy and well looked after with your MIL.

I hope she settles back OK. You will miss her. Like giving up smoking - use that spare money for something nice. :-)
