The "playground bully" is only agreeing to regain some "brownie points". Theres one in every playground-as soon as theyre seen for what they are they start helping grannies across the road-doesnt last very long though. Absolute NONCE! Mairi.

I agree with RJT, and i also agree with Mairi. I know i should not get drawn into those type of conversations (old enough to know better) but i detest bullies.
It stops people from posting, for fear their post and themselves will be ridiculed, hardly productive for a forum wouldnt you agree?

You can have a much better time and, if you like be far nastier by debating issues around hunting and the Hunting Act than getting personal.

I always try to attack people's ideas not them personally. It's far more effective.

This applies equally to all three combatants.

Play the ball not the man.

I'm off to break the law by hunting wild mammals with dogs this weekend, is any one else?

Nope...out of season for me and mine.

Agreed, just look how many of the regulars have either disappeared entirely or simply don't post anymore. It sucks.

I have been debating this week on hunting and the protests this that were made throughout 2004 with a notorious anti who used to come on here. We used another forum. None of the protagonists had to resort to childish insults and we had a civilised debate which we both claim to have won!

I find it quite frankly astounding that the person who was mainly responsible for the angry personal comments has posted to say he agrees with RTJ. Hmmmmm

Whats so astounding?

That its boring, or that RTJ has finally posted something that makes sense.

What personal angry comments are you referring too?

Well here is just one of the comments that you posted "Yeap, sure look like a pasty faced, misguided, italian sausage loving anti to me.
Its that look of a wasted lfe in the eyes that gives it away. "

I can't bear debates that have to resort to such childish insults. The drivel that has been posted on here in recent days hasn't even been worth more than a cursory look. It is boring and immature. As a result I have just blocked all these muppets so I don't have to look at the posts anymore! Result! :D

CC

But where are the "angry personnel comments".

I thought that the above was a damn good description of what I saw in the photo. There was nothing "angry" about it. Pitying perhaps and she did ask for comments. :)

Sure, but every now and again one of these bottom feeders turns up on here and thinks they can throw their weight around insulting people (even people on their own side of the hunting debate) parading their inadequacies in an embarrassing manner. I accept it would be a more aloof and austere approach to ignore them but speaking personally, I prefer to goad them into showing their true colours. And so far they haven't disappointed. This one's no worse or better than the umpteen previous ones we've had over the years - and I am in no way just talking about pros...the worst ever offender was an anti, or at least claimed to be.

True, they are just attention seeking brats - and giving them attention just fuels their already highly inflated egos - but on the other hand, giving them a good slap can be immensely satisfying!

You do have a over inflated opinion of yourself, don't you.

But that's only to be expected, after all of these years of self abuse you have partaken in.

Care to give an example of your prowess?

I do hope its of a higher standard than you last effort.

Make it quick, as I'm off on vacation very soon.

Botty Boy has a friend! How sweet! And who'd have thought.......?

I suppose he was struggling and needed a bit of support. And who better than a big, butch, pouting, hairy man to back him up...if that is indeed you in the picture?
I'm not so sure. I think it's some actor from a film. Some of the girls in Soapbox use pictures of their screen idols as avatars too. I think it's good that you're comfortable enough with your chosen gender alignment to be able to make such a statement.

"Blimey!

It's...not meant to be frightening. This is just a message board. Get a grip.

No, no that. He can do it himself.

If you want an exchange that celebrates violence, look elsewhere. I am only referring to giving a 'virtual' slap. Mr Botty Boys knows this now, and Mr Faggy is just learning.

"9 stone of dreadlocks, skin and bone coming at you, can you imagine?"

Yes...I suppose...but like your "football" comment.....where is it going? Please think things through BEFORE posting.

"Just clumsy old Kevin Hill."

Who? Is there a third person in the trailer? What are you blithering on about? Please promise me you'll buck your ideas up and make a bit of an effort. Otherwise I might be forced to rattle Skiddaw Lad's cage instead. OK, I'd have to be MIGHTY bored to do that, but things are beginning to get a bit pedestrian.

How unfortunate for you.

"You do have a over inflated opinion of yourself, don't you."

Now WHERE was the question mark? Haven't I told you before about punctuation and suchlike? Though it's not as bad as Mr Faggy, he can't even spell Exmoor - and he's from there! :-D
But, no I don't. It's inflated to exactly the right pressure, thanks very much. But if it ever does get a bit deflated, I can always read one of your posts and restore my ego to it's swollen magnificence.

"But that's only to be expected, after all of these years of self abuse you have partaken in. Care to give an example of your prowess?"

What, here? Now? I don't think so matey boy! You want an EXAMPLE of my prowess at self abuse?? What kind of freak are you?

"I do hope its of a higher standard than you last effort."

Don't tell everyone, cheeky! Sorry I'm not up to Mr Faggy's standard.

"Make it quick, as I'm off on vacation very soon."

Oh you ARE bold! A quickie before the trailer heads off to the Isle of Sheppey??

Have fun boys!

Yeah!
Maybe he could!

But I might be too excited at his reply.....best not to trouble him I think.
What about his avatar? Could he enlighten us on that also? Is it him, or his favourite screen idol? I think we should be told.
