1 year ago today my beautiful boy Alfie was put to sleep :(

Miss him so much! Funny how 1 animal could have so much of an impact on your life! He was my best pal!

I have bought a new pony since, but he'll never be as beautiful and as kind as Alfie was. And Alfie was a god send in his stable, this new pony is the devil!! Lol. Thankyou alf for teaching me so much and looking after me and taking me on some wild adventures! And also your silly moments when you'd just drop on the floor in the school and start rolling or when you used to slurp the garlicky water left from your food. Thankyou. Love you and miss you xxx
 
argh sweet, it flies by doesnt it, 4 years since my boy and i miss him the same as the day i lost him - thinking of you and chin up and remember ll them good times

Thankyou :) Its horrible isnt it. He taught me so much, I only had him about 2 years, I had him on full loan, and I learnt more with him then I ever did before! Miss him so much.
 
It does get easier as time passes and moves on but as the years go by you will always remember him as they are ingrained into our soul and heart.
It was nearly 2 years ago that I lost my mare and strangely enough it was 17th Dec 1999 (today) that I lost my childhood pony Rocky who I had for 25 years. I was only looking at some old photos the other day, some going back to the 1970's, it was like it was yesterday! He was a terror at times and we learnt so much together to a point where I knew exactly what he was thinking and what he was going to do before he did it! He was feisty and forward going but tremendous fun, I owe him so much.
