As some subjects such as putting horses down, injuries and illness are deemed too morbid for sensitive souls, I'm starting a frivolous post thread.
I will begin with Antifaz (Antifreeze as he's also known) Antifaz is shiny. I bet he's the shiniest horse on the forum and also possibly the one who most looks like a cow. I love him anyway.

My yearling is cute. He was adorable as a foal (although very naughty; no bra left untwanged!) and is still adorable.

Do you find that herds of cows try and rescue Antifaz as you ride through? I often go out with a little skewbald po and the cows are always trying to get him to come back to the herd :)

How dare you say he looks like a cow!

I disagree PF, Robin looks more cowlike than the shiny Antifreeze!;) AND she has a huge arse!

And the ability to take the worst photos ever

I think horses are very harsh fashion critics. I went for a lunchtime walk today in a warm fleecy hat, and a whole field full of them stopped eating and stared at me. I felt my fashion sense was being negatively judged:mad:

Now I am paranoid about my hat, and I will end up with frost-bitten ears, just you wait and see:(

:p:D

Perhaps the hat was just very very ugly? :p

Daughter's first time on an XC course - with rescued Welsh who would have been pony pies if we hadn't had him. He bolts - but they were under control and loving it here:D I think the little man knew just what he was doing it was the first of many fun days out with him.

You didn't get a photo of the rescue???

Lord no! I was too busy screaming at the landlord, his son, my sister, and mad dog lady to pull on various ropes and things to pull the dozy dave out of the ditch!
When he was pulled clear he was very sweet though and whinnied for me till I managed to get back onto his side of the ditch(id been pushing and pulling while chest high in ditch water!) then he just stood with his head on my shoulder till his legs stopped wobbling- then i took him to stable to warm up! il upload the pic of that! :D

Beautiful foal/yearling!

Phleep wins the most special AND fat pony award :o Guaranteed to make you laugh/smile/cry all in one go :p

when mine escaped into the forest I received a phone call to say they'd found a horse in a pink rug and a donkey! Poor Archie does look a bit like the donkey out of Shrek and think everybody that's met him asks if he's part donkey - he's definately an ass a right pain in the ass sometimes!
