Serenity & Fantasia have moved!

They now have two lovely paddocks, a stable, yard, wash bay and a barn. Serenity had her head down just inside the gate and was a madam to move to get the gate shut.

Fantasia 2½ went for a hoon until she spotted the shapes on the other side of the hedge, then stood fascinated as the cars on State Highway 1 went roaring past - peak traffic time. She's never seen a vehicle moving before. There is a massive, thick Barberry hedge between paddock and road but she sould hear them and see coloured shapes moving in the gaps.

Just off to see how they fared last night and to put Serenities muzle on. She will be spending the nights in the yard and her days with a muzzle on and inbetween we will go for walks to try and move her love handles. HAve arranged with a local trainer to use his horse walker a few times a week until she is fit enough to be ridden.

Then I will be back in the saddle after a long break - :D

Will get some this pics afternoon. I left Serenity snorting into her muzzle - I don't think she loves me at the moment!

It's a beautiful sunny day here in NZ and they were standing under one of the lovely shady trees, nose to tail dozing.

I'm rapt with the new place. Cleaned out the stable this morning, will get some new shavings down and Serenity will enjoy (haha!) her night time slimming accomodation.

I'm so relieved that I can now get the weight off her, I'm so lucky she's not been lamanitic. Clydies are sooo tough. My last place had a tap and a 5 acre paddock.
