Just saw this new style of girth in H&H and it looks a fantastic idea! Girths are probs the only bit of tack thats never changed since the english saddle first came about. I know a horse who would addore this girth and a "normal" girt alwasy ends up in his armpits which a very often sore anyway due to him being excessivly wrinkly under there. (they get cleaned every day and done with surgical spirit but still gets sore) Anyone got any experience of these?

Not much help, but someone on here put up pics of themself at a show and their horse was wearing one of these. Hopefully they will see your thread as I can't remember who it was now.

Funnily enough where I grew up it was quite common to have 2 girths - very similar to the new invention. We particularly used them for horses with very little wither or who didnt like overlly tightened girths or who were a bit on the porky side. I know one HHO's horse doesnt like it, but I have to say my experience is that most horses are very comfortable in them although it must feel odd to start with.
