well I love it once it is done:):D

46 large bales of hay (7-8 conventional bales in each) have been squeezed/manovered and crammed into little spaces around the yard.
why oh why can we not have barn space so we can just drive up with the forklift and drop them where we want them. I know I know it keeps us fit and out of trouble, it also saves us money, but boy am I tired.

the biggest space we have for have holds 11 bales if you are very good at getting them through a normal household door sized doorway, then turning them round by up ending them and dropping down again (the space is only just wide enough for them), then we have to stack them 4 high at the back.
shattered and a little sore this morning and all that to get hay I know is ragwort free (I pick it).

of to work at the stables -I just want to soak in a tub then go back to sleep

I know that shattered feeling, but it does feel good to know it's done. My husband had to keep nipping out and looking at the full hay barn yesterday and was really chuffed - until I pointed out to him that that won't last them much after Christmas!

Well done - we have that job to look forward to today, somewhere between 700 and 900 bales to be made collected and stacked !! It is always a tough day but the smell in the barn and satisfaction that winter is sorted is worth the pain!!
