I put a thin rug on my unclipped Arab yesterday as it was wet, very windy and the field is on the top of a hill with no shelter of anykind. Brought her in at 5.15pm and she was dripping with sweat so back to being naked again and she doesn't have that much coat!

Yeah, I blanket clipped my new boy earlier in the week and have had to put him into his rambo plus/370gm as he seems to be a bit of a wuss about the cold.

My WB girl is out and naked though :)

Fany is fully clipped and in a medium t.o. and Captain is not clipped in a light/medium stable. Trying to keep away from the heavy and medium/heavy until at least January, as Jan and Feb tend to be colder up here than Dec.

We're in Herts, and although chilly winds, we've not had any hard frosts yet, nor much rain. Mine are still in Middleweights with necks.

My TB (unclipped) was sweating in his Masta stable rug last week.

Yep all 3 are in heavyweights, they dont have much shelter in the day apart from a hedge so with this wind they need it, wind chill is about -3 here. Brrrr!
In at night with about 300g on each.

Charlie is fully clipped and out in the day with a medium weight full neck rug and wearing his 350grm stable rug with neck at night from last night. Dont want to put heavy weight turn out on until the tempertaure drops during the day to below 3 degrees.
