Possibly going to see a few horses this weekend :D Just wanted to say how excited I am! Will be nice to finally have my own horse rather than loaning :)

Yay! :D

I so looked forward to horse hunting but found it soul destroying and so scary. Horses were not as advertised, or had already been sold, or had some strange defect not mentioned in the advert or covered by my long list of questions. I was scared I had missed something obvious and was buying a problem.

I hope you do enjoy it - sorry to rain on your parade! We will look forward to a pic when you find one.

ooooo how fun, good luck...
don't be afraid to grill the seller, and don't let them be pushy sometimes they say they have other people interested and sometimes their bluffing if they are let them be because their desperate and if their desperate then there may be something wrong with the horse (though not all the time)

best of luck and take your time, i use to fall in love with the first horse every time and then have a hell of time with that horse.
happy shopping

I have roped my riding instructor in to help haha, she has grilled every buyer so far :P Despite the due date for her baby being today she still says she'll come with me to view them :D

I'm so nervous as well! I haven't rode for about 2 months and am so worried that I'm going to do something wrong or something they dont like and... argh! Stressed.com! :o

if you are worried that they don't think you will fit with 'the' horse then hopefully they will be honest to say so, though heartbreaking at the end of the day you weren't a match and you'll find a more suited horse, but with your instructor there you'll be fine.

Depending what you're after check the rescues, they will be as advertised , and from a good location. RSPCA, blue cross, whw, bransby home of rest are but a few.

I've been turned down before for a potential loan horse- it's not that I mind and would of course prefer for them to be honest, at the end of the day they know their horse... I'm just worried about the whole thing! :o

Ah yes, I hadn't thought about the rescues (bad I know) but I will take a look if none from this weekend are right :) Thank you :)
