Over the last month I have had a couple of emails from the person that bought my horse in October last year.

He is doing really well and will start his BSJA career this year!!
(something we would have never done together)

I am just so pleased as he has really landed on his feet. Although I loved him to bits we had a real clash when riding, but the girl that bought him has this amazing bond with him and rides him so differently to me which he seems to accept more.

I'm hoping to meet up with her for a hack sometime and will also catch up to see her competing which is great. She has also just been offered a working pupil placement with David Pincus (although she didn't know who he was). Have just emailed her to tell her to jump at the chance.

So pleased he is doing well, and altough it is quite gut wrenching to see someone get so much out of him he does seem a lot happier.

Who is David Pincus out of interest

LOL!

Thanks ! I thought he might be a 'high profile' name from our area (you're very near to me i think !) that i hadn't heard of....but he's dressage and a fair way away so i'm not completely dim

You may see my old horse competing at Golden x and crockstead in the near future. I may even see you myself if I go and watch.

well done to you for being big enough to accept that sometimes people and horses dont click as well as they could. That is not saying he wouldnt have done all this with you but like you, sometimes you have to just move on, which you have done! You will get loads of pleasure out of seeing him do well, if not with you, with his new owner and at least you know he is happy and well!

YOur next neddy may be the same for you, and have a greater bond with you than his last owner, it all swings in roundabouts!
