I imagine that everyone is thoroughly sick of these threads but I really need a different perspective on what to 'officially' name my horse.
His passport just has a foal number on it and the time has come to christen him properly. His everyday name is Rufus but I want a posh name on the passport just in case we ever affiliate (v. unlikely
).
I would like his name to have 'dark' or 'darkness' or something along those lines in it because he is a very glossy dark bay with quite a bit of white on him so his colour is probably his most striking feature. Current ideas are:
After Dark
Dark Before Dawn
Darkness Falls
Dusk til Dawn
Fear of the Dark (Iron Maiden tribute!)
Problem is I've been thinking about this so long that I can no longer tell if I even like the names any more, I can't think of any more and my brain has utterly turned to mush. Do you like any of these? Can anyone think of some more?
