A few of you will know what I'm on about...

A while ago someone was talking about how they didn't appreciate text messages in response to horse ads- I told people about a v wierd text I had this time last year from random person wanting to buy second hand hunter wellies... then loads of other people said they had the same!

Anyway, had it again a few weeks ago when Sam first went on horsemart and I have ignored it and now keep getting texts about it all the time chasing me up?!

Anyone else getting them???

My YO is getting them 2, he thought it was someone being serious until i told it had happened before, then they started texting asking what they had done wrong - he promptly texted back and told them where to go lol...

I hope he doesn't end up with massive charges on his bill! Or maybe the aim is to give bank details to put the money in? Don't get what the scam is...

I got those texts too when I sold my mare last year, what are they trying to achieve, I mean what are the chances the person they are texting IS going to have hunter wellies for sale! Surely if they wanted personal info they would be better off enquiring about the horse!

I had someone on here asking if I would sell them my second hand hunter wellies via PM. Either they are fishing for personal details, or there is one strange foot fetishist out there!

OMG i had that text too. I texted back yes for the laugh but never heard anymore. I even tried calling number cos i thought maybe it was someone i knew having a laugh but there was no answer

Perhaps there is a lonely person out there with a lot of free texts on their contract??!!
