The organiser once did a photoshoot of me and my PRE (she's very talented) and I've been following her progress on FB. It's a huge amount of work to put it on and is shaping up to be an impressive event.
I was going to the whole thing with my friend but I've become mysteriously ill so have given my tickets to my friend's husband and they're going to do an Exeter/Dartmoor/gala evenings break. Sad to miss it.
Same here, have been to the previous incarnations and am sure it will be amazing. The bar and shopping village and parade track look incredible, that'll be a lot of fun.
I was hoping to go but then realised the default pricing is the kids tickets, just couldn't afford it as an adult this time (i'd have to travel and stay over to) but I hope it goes well, looks like they'll sold lots of tickets. I'd definitely recommend it if you have some free time and free money this weekend!
Would be really sad for the team if they had put all this effort into growing it into a bigger event only to be derailed by the cost of living problems, etc which they couldn't have foreseen a year back.
