They're cool. Took about an hour and half to do worst foot but he had to trim alot off, actual shoe bit didn't take too long, worst bit was the drilling of holes into her hoof to help the adhesive anchor - my girl doesn't like dremmel drills. The second foot only took about 40mins cause it didn't need so much trimming.

She is def. more comfy especially as she stood on her bad leg for the 40mins while he did the other one, without the shoe she would of managed 5mins doing that.

He's back in 4 weeks to re-do them and i've had to buy overreach boots to protect the shoes as much as possible. Going to keep her on one bute twice a day till prob sunday and then start reducing xxxxx

Hi, its great news that she is more comfortable already.

If you have time, would it be possible to explain how they fit them. I think they soak them in hot water to soften - then what.

Good luck and I really hope she keeps improving.

I have got photos on my phone but not computer literate enough to get them on computer but if you look on imprint website (google imprint shoes) they've got pics on there.

Procedure -

1) trim feet so it fits to shoe

2) Drill holes into hoof wall so the adhesive can anchor

3) Clean foot all over with surgical spirit

4) Put shoe into boiling water - shoe goes on a stand so the water only goes half way up it, this makes the plastic go clear so it goes mouldable.

5) Put adhesive onto foot and put shoe on and mould it to hoof, spray with stuff that cools it very quickly so it hardens and then they stand on it till it goes completely hard. Apply extra adhesive if necc!!!

That's pretty much it i think, whole sequence is on website xxxx
