The Jeremy Bear Cup

Hello HHO,

I was wondering if you could help me? Back in the '70s my mother left Kent for Aberdeen and gave to her riding club a cup to be handed out to the most improved horse and rider combination each year. That riding club was disbanded about 2 years ago and we have the cup back at home next to a picture of dear old Jerdmy. I would love to know anout the people who received this cup and any stories behind it.

FYI in 2007 at the grand old age of 37 jeremy was put down. He'd been with mum for 32 years.

I remember this cup and gave it to a lady called Sarah to pass on to your mum when we closed the Club down. It was Wrotham & District Riding Club and I was Chairman for the last 2 years of the club's life.

It was a lovely Club and had been going for 34 years but began to struggle for help in later years. It was at its best in the 80's and provided a lot of fun for a lot of people.
