Thanks NSN for posting the link, I used to love the Jinny books so much, I always wanted to live at Finmory and ride on the moors! I still have all the books now as an adult! I'm keeping them incase I ever have a daughter- you just don't get books like that nowadays.

I have had a chestnut mare, tho not an Arab, I think the books are mostly responsible for my love of wild chestnut horses. :)
 
Wow that paragraph from the letter brought tears to my eyes! What a lovely read, thank you for posting it. I used to adore the books, and re-read them many times! I have to say I'm fairly tempted to see if I can dig them off the book shelf, ready to read in the sun tomorrow.... :-)
